Trainee Requirements

  1. Employed and/or licensed in the security, protection or investigation field.
  2. Sworn Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement (LEO).

Intelligence collection, analysis and exploitation are critical to any security project or investigation.  Our experience has shown the importance of effective intelligence is not often a focus during initial or concurrent training for those in public safety, security and risk management.  Our goal is to provide the essential theory and real-world skills required to execute critical investigative functions, threat detection and monitoring for public and private security professionals.

Course Objectives:

  • Prepare students to establish or enhance their organization’s intelligence collection capabilities.
  • Students will have a greater understanding of the U.S. Intelligence Infrastructure and the specialties of each agency.
  • Develop Open-Source collection techniques using publicly available sources and aggregate tools.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of other collection methods, apart from OSINT.
  • Effectively implement the Intelligence Cycle.
